　　江西的省会南昌市，是中国历史文化名城。位于城区的滕王阁始建于1300多年前的唐代，现在是国家5A级旅游景区。位于城郊距今2000多年的汉代海昏侯国遗址重大考古发现惊艳了世界，大量极具研究价值的马蹄金等金器、竹简的出土，向人们展示了一个人文底蕴深厚的金色江西，为此所建的遗址公园将于今年开园。遍布各地的万寿宫是江西商帮走向世界的标志性建筑，见证了江西古代商业的繁荣，至今南昌还有保存完好的西山万寿宫和铁柱万寿宫。

　　在南昌的北面，有中国最大的淡水湖鄱阳湖，丰水期面积达5000平方公里，是国际重要湿地，也是亚洲最大的候鸟越冬栖息地，地球上一半的濒危动物江豚聚集在它的水中宫殿，每年全球98的白鹤等数十万候鸟从西伯利亚飞抵鄱阳湖越冬，造就了人鸟和谐共存的自然奇景。

　　在鄱阳湖的周边分布着庐山、景德镇、婺源、三清山、龙虎山等世界一流的旅游景区，集山岳、湖泊、古村、陶瓷艺术和宗教文化于一体，构成了深受国内外游客欢迎和追捧的最中国精品旅游线路。

　　由南昌往南，是有着中国戏剧之都称号的抚州市，400多年前被誉为东方的莎士比亚汤显祖就生活在这里，他创作的戏剧作品代表了中国古典戏剧的最高成就。抚州大觉山的峡谷漂流落差较大，激流勇进，跌宕起伏，成为年轻人特别喜爱的休闲项目。

　　位于江西最南部的中国历史文化名城赣州市保留着1000多年前的古城墙及当时完备的地下排水设施福寿沟，迄今仍发挥着城市排涝的作用。赣州许多地方还散布着近600栋被称为东方古城堡的围屋建筑，围屋中有大量精美的木雕、石刻、绘画，是探寻客家文化的重要载体。

　　在江西的西部耸立着一座有着世界影响的名山井冈山，中国革命从这里走向胜利。井冈山的自然风光绚丽多姿，是理想的旅游避暑休闲疗养胜地。在井冈山的北面是江西武功山，生态环境原始独特，拥有壮观的高山草甸风光，是徒步运动爱好者的天堂。武功山脚下的温汤温泉是举世罕见的富硒温泉，全世界只有两处富硒温泉，另一处是法国的依云矿泉。
