　　《绿野仙踪》是一个长篇的童话故事。这本书的作者是美国的来曼弗兰克鲍姆。故事中的主人公是一位小姑娘，名字叫多萝茜，她抱着一只小狗，和她的亨利叔叔、艾姆嫂嫂生活在堪萨斯州大草原的中部。因为一次龙卷风，她和她的小狗被卷到一个奇怪的世界，她们去找仙人让自己回到家里去。路上，她遇到了“没有脑的稻草人”“没有心的铁皮人”“没有胆子的狮子”，他们成为了朋友，与多萝茜一同去找仙人，途中有很多希奇古怪的事。最后，稻草人成为了翡翠城的首领，铁皮人成了温基人的领导者，狮子成为了一个古老的森林的王，多萝茜和她的小狗回到了家里。
