It stands to reason that ......这个句式可以表达三层意思：1）指that-clause 所述是“显
而易见”、“不言而喻” ，相当于 It is obvious/clear/apparent that ……“；2）指that-
clause 所述是 ”毫无疑问”、“不容置疑”，相当于 There is no doubt that ……; 3）指
that-clause 所述是 reasonable or logical ”合乎情理”、 ”理所当然” 。
我收集了一些例句，表达这一句式的不同译法。
